Angry mob burns house of man accused in Manipur women's stripping incident

In Manipur, the people's anger continues even after the police arrested the main accused who was showing off the maniac to two naked women. 

Now the news has come that the house of the accused has been burnt down by people burning in a fire of revenge at Yairipok village in Thoubal district of Manipur. Late on Thursday evening, a senior police officer confirmed that the house of prime accused Khuyrum Heradas had been burnt. According to sources, a sudden mob set fire to the house of the accused.

The video of this incident is going viral. It can be seen that most of the people who light up are women. The name of the main accused was said to be Khuyroom Heradas. Know that Khuyroom Heradas was arrested by Thoubal district police on Thursday in connection with the viral video of stripping and torturing women in Manipur. The police have so far arrested four people in this case.

The incident of brutality with two women took place on May 4. A complaint in this matter was registered on May 18. The government and administration swung into action after a video of the incident went viral on social media. An attempt was made to cover it up for 77 days.

The accused were arrested after a nationwide uproar by Parliament on the road, let us tell you that the complaint filed included sections of malice, kidnapping, assault, rape, and murder with deadly weapons.

It reportedly took the police more than a month to transfer the case to the Nongpok Sekmai Police Station. The complaint was registered on 18 May and the matter reached the Nongpok Sekmai Police Station on 21 June. In the FIR, the village headman was quoted as saying that the looting and other incidents were carried out by a mob.

A mob armed with deadly weapons like AK, SLR, INSAS, and .303 rifles was said to have attacked the village. They vandalized people's houses. The cash was looted. The goods were burned. In this sequence, the mob committed the murders. Two women were paraded naked. In this case, officials admitted they knew the municipality was sensitive. According to information, about 90 of the 150 residents were earlier taken out by police and security personnel. 

According to the official, most of these villagers have taken shelter in government-run camps.
